Curious about DTF transfers? Let us explain:
DTF transfers are a type of garment transfer printed using water-based DTF ink onto a clear release paper. This gives you the freedom to apply the transfer when and where you choose. DTF transfers are available in both single-color and full-color options.
Ready to apply your DTF transfer? Here's how:
All Nashville Design House DTF transfers require the use of a commercial-grade heat press to achieve the proper, even pressure necessary for correct application. Cricut heat presses or at-home irons won't suffice, as DTF needs even and heavy pressure to seal in the print.
Please refrain from using teflon sheets or parchment paper to cover your initial transfer press, as they can cause issues during pressing. The film will act as a teflon sheet.
We do recommend using a teflon sheet once you have removed the transfer film. We do a 5 second sealing step with the teflon sheet covering the graphics for protection. This just gives the transfer one final press to make sure everything is pressed really good.
Proper Pressing Instructions:
- Prepress the garment to remove excess moisture.
- Place the transfer on the shirt with the vibrant side facing up.
- Pressing Temperature: 320°F
- Pressing Time: 10 seconds
- Pressure: HIGH 8-9 PSI
- Peel: HOT PEEL - PEEL IMMEDIATELY
- We recommend an additional 10-second press after the hot peel. Simply cover with teflon and press to seal it in.
To care for your Nashville Design House Transfer Graphic:
Nashville Design Hose recommends washing all DTF graphics inside out on a cool cycle. For better longevity, hang drying is advised, but a no/low heat tumble dry can also be used. Reducing the heat during washes will minimize wear and keep your graphics vibrant!
Please note that we are not responsible for damaged transfers once they have been pressed. It is essential to be knowledgeable about your heat press, pressing pressure, and peeling technique. Additionally, using non-commercial grade heat presses or irons with our transfers may lead to undesirable results.
As a final note, ALL SALES ARE FINAL due to the nature of the product. We appreciate your understanding.
Thank you again for joining us on this exciting venture with DTF transfers. We can't wait to see the amazing creations you'll bring to life!
