Application Instructions
All Nashville Design House DTF transfers require the use of a commercial-grade heat press to achieve the proper, even pressure necessary for correct application. Cricut heat presses or at-home irons won't suffice, as DTF needs even and heavy pressure to seal in the print.
Please refrain from using teflon sheets or parchment paper to cover your initial transfer press, as they can cause issues during pressing. The film will act as a teflon sheet.
We do recommend using a teflon sheet once you have removed the transfer film. We do a 15 second sealing step with the teflon sheet covering the graphics for protection. This just gives the transfer one final press to make sure everything is pressed really good.
Proper Pressing Instructions:
Prepress the garment to remove excess moisture. About 15 seconds or so.
Place the transfer on the shirt with the vibrant side facing up.
Pressing Temperature: 300°F-325°F
Pressing Time: 20-25 seconds
Pressure: HIGH! 90 PSI
Allow print to cool for around 30 seconds
Peel: COOL PEEL
We recommend an additional 5-second press after the cold peel.
